Yoga For Healthy Living


CatRoc Yoga combines the techniques of Hatha Yoga and Slow Flow to build a class that engages the body, mind, and spirit. Our classes target all muscles, enhancing strength and boosting flexibility while protecting soft tissues and joints. We focus on body alignment in all asanas to ensure maximum efficacy while reducing the risk of injury.

Body: Using a balanced physical practice that targets all muscles to enhance strength and promote flexibility while protecting joints and soft tissue.  Body alignment is key in all asanas.

Mind: Removing stress and clearing the mind of disturbances by focusing on rest, meditation and breathing. We practice pranayama (breathing exercises) in every class to to help you declutter your mind, focus on your body and eliminate stress.

Spirit: Through daily prayer and meditation, connecting body and mind with God and becoming one with the Divine Spirit.

 


Chanting is an ancient yoga tradition. It is used to invoke spiritual unity and introspection.

The opening chant used in CatRoc classes is:


Om bolo satguru bhagavan ki.

Loosely translated to:

The divine is the inner teacher.


At the end of classes we use the following closing chant:


Lokah samastah sukhino bhavantu.

Loosely translated to:

May the entire universe be filled with peach and joy, love and light.


Jai Shri Satguru Maharaj Ki. Jai!

Victory to the CatRoc Yoga class and to the inner teacher. Victory!
